Introduction

Protecting your privacy is important to Trees on a Truck Inc. We are committed to maintaining your confidence and trust in all of our activities with you. Below is our Terms, Conditions and Privacy Policy governing our collection, use, disclosure and retention of personal information about you that you provide while visiting our websites (the “Site” or “Sites”), booking a service with us, or otherwise corresponding with us.

Terms of use

Trees on Truck Inc. reserves the right to refuse to install, deliver or remove any tree if the company, or any Installer on the company’s behalf has deemed it unsafe to do so. This can be including but not limited to:

• Inadequate or broken tree stand

• If the location to where the tree is to be placed is down stairs, icy or uneven walkways, up or down any hills and through small spaces.

• Installers can refuse to string lights if they customer provided lights and tangled, missing bulbs, or not working as they should.

In the event the company and or the installer deems it unsafe to make the installation, no discount will be given and the customer agrees to pay the full agreed upon price.

Tree Sizes:

​

Tree sizes may not be exact, they are based on the growers estimation when they are tagging and cutting the trees. Therefore, trees can be + or - as much as 6 inches below the advertised size. Sizes fluctuate based on cutting year as some years may be "tall" and others may be "short"- We do our best to give accurate sizing, however it is based upon stock available from the growers.

Limitation of Liability

Trees on a Truck Inc. or any of its installers are not responsible for any damage the customer may incur to property, assets or personal injury during or after the installation. Such damages include, but are not limited to:

• Broken windows

• Scratches or damage to doors, floors, walls, ceilings, siding, concrete or asphalt surfaces.

• Broken or damage furniture, fixtures, decorations and lighting

• Injury sustained to any person during or after the installation

Once the tree has been installed, it is the sole obligation of the Homeowner or whomever they have appointed to be present during the installation, to ensure that the tree is secure and safe in the stand. Trees on a Truck Inc. or its installers are not responsible if the tree falls over once installed.

 

Identifying Purposes  

We collect, use, and retain personal information only for the purposes for which it was obtained or for purposes authorized or required by law. We will not collect, use, disclose or retain personal information for any other purposes unless your consent to do so is obtained. 

We may collect personal information from you for the following purposes: 

• to provide you with the service(s) you have requested; 

• to offer you additional products and services we believe you might be interested in;

• to conduct customer satisfaction surveys; 

• to respond to your queries; 

• to inform you of new promotions, products and services offered by us; 

• to improve our level of service; 

• to provide service notifications; and

We may share your personal information with our employees, sub-contractors, installers and business partners. 

Information will only be shared as needed to provide services to you.
