Our Trees

Trees on a Truck only sources the highest quality trees, we use only boutique growers who harvest a fraction of the trees the larger growers do.

This allows them to spend more time shaping and trimming their trees providing a better quality product. Another advantage of boutique growers is the trees are harvested later, because they harvest fewer quantities our trees are cut later and fresher then trees supplied from growers who focus on the quantity of trees they put out.

Using these growers allows us to also get multiple truckloads throughout the season as the trees are cut! This ensures a fresher product, rather than receiving our whole order in November and the trees sitting cut waiting to be delivered.

Each tree is hand picked to ensure that you get exactly the tree you are looking for!

We stock Fraser and Balsam Fir, however if you are looking for a specific species contact us and we will see what we can do for you!

Christmas Tree Survival Guide

Everyone knows that you cannot beat the smell of a real Christmas Tree. There have been attempts from essential oils to car air fresheners, however that specific scent has not been able to be replicated. â€‹ This contributes to the draw of a real Christmas tree. Although we have simplified getting a Christmas tree delivered to your door, there is still a small amount of daily maintenance that has to be done in order to keep your tree looking its best for as long as possible!

We have outlined a few simple steps that can be taken to ensure your tree stays fresh, as long as possible!

1. if your tree was delivered from us, we always make a fresh cut on the bottom of the tree! if not, make sure to do so! This is an essential part of your trees longevity. A fresh cut opens the pores within the trunk, allowing the tree to absorb as much water as possible. When a tree has been cut and not placed in water, sap will begin to solidify restricting the trees ability to absorb water, this is why a fresh cut just before installation is essential

2. adding ginger ale  or some form of tree food can help extend the life of the tree, however is not essential. it is important to note that when using ginger Ale, only add when the tree is first installed within your home, it is not required every time you fill the water up.

3. the next step is easy, just make sure the tree never runs out of water! every tree stand will have a water reservoir that you should check once in the morning and once in the evening. Some Stands have a smaller water capacity which may need to be check mid day as well. Trees will drink allot more water when they are fresh, gradually decreasing throughout their time in your home.

4. The placement of your Christmas tree can also help its longevity. Placing a tree away from any source of heat ie. Fireplace, heating vent or radiators will prematurely dry out the tree.  Remember, these are live products and some naturally last longer than others, but being vigilant with watering gives your tree the best possible chance at lasting!

Your dog won't bring you a tree, but we will!
